Brooke's roots to the field of speech pathology tie back to her own experience receiving speech therapy in the first grade to help her learn how to make the "R" sound. Brooke had a special bond with her speech therapist and has never forgotten her kindness and patience.

After deciding that becoming an SLP was her calling, Brooke decided to major in linguistics at UC Berkeley to develop a strong foundation in the science and mechanics of language. After graduating with her bachelors at UCB, she went on to attend the University of Washington to obtain a second bachelors degree in speech and hearing sciences. From there, She went on to complete a masters degree in communication disorders and sciences from Cal State University, Northridge.

For fun, Brooke travels as much as she can. She loves gardening and cooking for her husband, friends and family. She also loves exploring new places and spending time outdoors, soaking up the California sun.
